A Young Genius of Guitar in 12 years from Korea

2009년 4월 14일 화요일 0
If you're a lover of watching video on YouTube, you might have seen his playing. he is really talented and genius of the guitar. this amazing boy is only 12 years old now but his skills can't be shown as one of the 12-year boy at all.

More surprisingly, he's never been learning guitar and music from anyother one. His playing has built up by only self-study with Internet movie clip which was played by other professional players. Many people feel unbelievable but It's absolutely truth.

His name is Jung Sung-ha. He goes to elementary school in Korea. but He is already a worldwide online star on YouTube. He was featured on Korean TV show which is called 'Starking' (it's a kinda amazing talent show) and has performed with professional guitarist in Germany last year. Moreover, he is expected to study abroad in a French music academy. (He is also known as a straight-A student in his school)

This music above is "Howl's Moving Castle Theme Song", Japanimation by Ghibli Studio which is one of the my most favorite music he's played

In fact, I also used to play the guitar when I was in a college (but I was not so good). Anyway, he is inspiring me to play the guitar again. (plus, he is living near my old hometown in Korea, I'm so proud of him :))

Go to YouTube and search the videos by "Sungha Jung", You'll be able to enjoy more videos of Sung-ha's playing

YouTube will prohibit Korean users uploading and adding comment on the website

2009년 4월 9일 목요일 0

"We will block all uploadings and adding comments on YouTube site from Korean local users"

Google has announced lately on the rebound of real-name system which Korean government drive. Another words, the users who set their nation information as Korea can no longer upload their movies and add comments on the YouTube website. They can only see the movies there. However, if they alter their nationalities as other countries, they can do everything like before.

But, to be dumbfounded, Blue house(which means the house where Korean president lives in, like White house in USA) is facing embarrassed setback. Blue house's official blog, 'Puren Paljak Jiboong Arae' (which means under the Blue house's roof) has announced "From 30th March, Anyone can see Korean presidential address on YouTube site". It's means not only radio, we can see it as video.

However, it hasn't even been a couple of week since this statement, YouTube declared to fobid video-uploding by Korean users. Now, it's time for Korean president to determine whether give up uploading to YouTube or change of the nationality as a official head of Korea.

Either way, it will be ridiculous. It must be loss of reputation that a president of certain country upload his or her official address with another nationality, but calling off the promiss with people is also matter of face. Finally It's showing boomerang how idiot result of forcible driving real-name systems on internet (any other countries which guarantee the freedom of speech in democracy never legislate it, only few countries have this system such as Chinese, North Korea, we do not call them democracy)

I'm going to pay attention how Blue house manage this problem.

The OST of 'Whisper of the Heart' - Contry Roads

2009년 4월 7일 화요일 0
There is a Original Sound Track of 'Whisper of the Heart', animation of studio 'Ghibli'

The original song is a country song, 'Take me home, Country roads' which sung by John Denver, American singer. In fact, this song means a lot for me as own itself, because it was my very first pop-song had ever enjoyed. When I was a kid, my older cousin sister who was studying English in college had lived with me in my house for a while. The album she brought me at that time is the John denver's. Therefore, this song was my only pop-song I knew when I was in ignorance of pop-music, in my primary school time. :)

A long time later, when I recognized this song had been used by animation, 'Whisper of the Heat' as OST, I reminisced about my infant days. Personally, I've prefered Ghibli animations with feeling kind of warm rather than robot series(I've never been interested in Gundam or things like that). Moreover, as the OST was so familiar, I remember having fun with this animation.
This movie contains Korean subtitles because it was posted on my Korean blog at first
